The Fairlawn vision is to be a green community that leads by example, and becomes a voice to educate ourselves and others in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions at church, at home, in the community and in our workplaces.

One of our activities in this area is to replace the heating system. The heat in our building is not well controlled and this leads to discomfort and waste. Our boilers are past middle age, and in the warmer weather most program areas are uncomfortable. To address this, we are investigating an environmentally-friendly approach such as a ground source heat pump solution.
